Abdominoplasty – Novel Soft-Tissue Surgical Models for Acute Pain
The prevailing soft tissue acute pain surgical models (hemorrhoidectomy, herniorrhaphy, hysterectomy, laparoscopic cholecystectomy, colon surgery) are slow to recruit and present financial and logistical challenges. Additionally, these models are flawed from an experimental standpoint (high variability/ small effect sizes).
