We are thrilled to share that our own Lance Ballester presented a poster at the Joint Statistical Meetings Annual Conference in Portland, Oregon this past week. His presentation, co-authored by our President, William Martin, was titled “Practical Considerations to Dose Selection in Clinical Trials.”

The presentation delved into the critical aspects of dose selection across all phases of clinical trials. Lance discussed the challenges of dose selection in Phase 1 trials, where the lack of human data poses significant hurdles. He highlighted the gap between theoretical discussions among statisticians and the practical execution of dose selection, emphasizing the need for a more holistic review of data and operational considerations.
